Can I bring my dog?

We love dogs! But, unfortunately, dogs should not come to the Run for Ronald 5k. The website for the dye we are using affirms that "all materials are 100% FD&C and/or D&C grade and approved by the US FDA", but the dye is still unsafe if it is consumed. Since dogs have a tendency to consume things (their food, your food, socks, rocks, etc), it would be safer if Fido/Daisy/Harry Pupper stayed at home

Do I have to run?

Of course not! You can run, walk, crawl, hop on one foot, or do whatever else will make it fun for you to complete the 5k

Is the Run for Ronald 5k really being organized by teenagers?

Yes, but we'd argue that being teenagers makes us uniquely qualified to run a 5k—in the hosting sense and the physical running sense. We have lots of energy and are accustomed to hard work. Between us, we've taken over twenty AP classes and earned more than twenty athletic letters. Ronald McDonald house is aware and supportive of our race and we have also acquired the necessary permits to host the race (the park facility use permit and the city special event permit).

I have questions about the color powder, where do I look for more information?

After a lot of research, we decided to order our dye from a company called Color Blaze. The following link will take you to their FAQ page, and by scrolling down a little you can find good information about the color powder.
